A PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP WAS SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED AT THE 54 INFANTRY DIVISION UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI).

In line with the noble concept of the Commander of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), Major General KMPSB Kulatunga RSP ndc psc and under the direct supervision of the General Officer Commanding, 54 Infantry Division, Major General AMCP Wijayaratne RWP RSP nps psc the event was successfully organized with the participation of 101 soldiers. These participants represented all units under the command of the 21, 54, 56, and 59 Infantry Divisions within the SFHQ (Wanni) area of responsibility.

The workshop was conducted by a team led by renowned photographer Mr. Priyantha Abeysundara, BFA NPAS FNPAS from the “Rupa Charika” Association. The objective was to foster creativity, self-expression, and photographic skills among the soldiers. The workshop took place at the 54 Infantry Division Headquarters on the 20th, 21st, and 22nd of May 2025.

At the conclusion of the three-day workshop on 22nd May 2025, a special memento was presented to Mr. Priyantha Abeysundara and the other advisory board members of the “Rupa Viraka” Forum in appreciation of their valuable contribution. In addition, certificates were awarded to all participants who successfully completed the workshop.
