After completing a three months basic military training successfully, forty five Tamil girls together with ten Sinhala girls, passed out at 4th Signal Regiment Parade square Anuradhapura on 18 December 2013. Well organized, colourful passing out parade was held at 6.00pm. Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Colonel of the Regiment Sri Lanka Sinhe Regiment, Competent Authority for Internal Displaces Personal in North Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP ndu psc participated as the chief guest of the event and received the guard of honour by the newly passed outs. There were more than thousand participants including priests representing three main religions, Senior Army officers, officers, Navy officers, Air Force officers, members of police and parents and relations of the recruits.
The chief guest Commander Security Forces (Wanni) awarded the trophies for the recruits who excellent in the best platoon, the best section and the best overall recruit.
This was the first Tamil and Sinhala passing out that was organized by the SF HQ (Wanni). The programme was end up with a marvellous musical night organized by SF HQ (Wanni). All the participants enjoyed the event by singing and dancing. This was one of the significant movement which proved the blossoming harmony between the nations in Sri Lanka to the world.
