Under the direction of General Officer Commanding the 65 Infantry Division, Major General E A D P Edirisingha psc and under the supervision of Commander 652 Infantry Brigade Brigadier W A U S Wanasekara RWP USP, troops of the 10th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry organized and conducted a cultural programme to commemorate Thai Pongal Day at the Palinagar Maha Vidyalaya on 18 January 2023.
Meanwhile, the cultural programme was held at the school's main hall and General Officer Commanding 65 Infantry Division, Commander - 652 Infantry Brigade, Divisional Secretary of Manthei (E), the school principal and more than 300 students were attended the event. Further, musical group of 10th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry and cultural group of 4 (V) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps gave their fullest support to colorful the event.
