ORGANIZE THE STERILIZING PROGRAMMES IN AROUND PUBLIC PLACES IN VAVUNIYA TOWN

The Troops of 562 Infantry Brigade on the instruction by Commander Security Forces - (Wanni), Maj Gen D M H D Bandara RWP RSP USP and General Officer Commanding - 56 Infantry Division Maj Gen A A D N S P Dunuwila RWP RSP USP, launched several disinfection programmers in and around public places in Vavuniya on 26THApril 2021 in order to suppress the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Accordingly, the troops of the 562 infantry Brigade under the supervision of Commander 562 infantry Brigade Brigadier A M S Premawansa RWP RSP USP, sterilized public places in bus stands, Railway station, welfare centers, state and private banks, market, public assembly points and three wheeler parks etc in Vavuniya town area. 17 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment carried out these disinfection campaigns with the assistance of Vauniya Public Health Inspectors, and urban council of respective areas.
