The Battalion Training Course of 12 (Volunteer) Vijayabahu Infantry Battalion was inaugurated on 18 March 2024 by General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc with delivering opening address as the Chief Guest at Infantry Battalion Training School - Alankulam. Importance of the training, how training make warriors, dedication, bravery and unity of soldiers were briefed with thriving them motivated during the opening address. Further GOC inspected the accommodation area and sanitary facilities of soldiers.
07 Officers and 385 Other Ranks are participated for the Battalion Training Course and it will continue for 45 days under strict health guidelines and supervision of the Commander Security Forces - Wanni.
