OPENING OF NEWLY CONSTRUCTED ALL RANKS COTTAGE AT 21 SRI LANKA SINHA REGIMENT

The newly constructed all ranks cottage at 21 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment was auspiciously opened on 30 December 2019.

As an initiative of Commanding Officer 21 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Lieutenant Colonel J M J Perera, this cottage will be vested to the military personal free of charge when their families visiting to spend holydays.

This cottage was constructed by troops of 21 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment with the direction of Commander 563 Brigade Colonel KPA Perera RSP and under the supervision of General Officer Commanding of 56 Division Major General W M J R K Senarathne RWP RSP.

The opening ceremony was held in coincide with the 11th Anniversary of 21 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc made his presence by gracing the event as the chief guest.

General Officer Commanding of 56 Division Major General W M J R K Senarathne RWP RSP, Commander 563 Brigade Colonel KPA Perera RSP along with Senior officers of Headquarters 56 Division and 563 Brigade, Officers of 21 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment made their presence for the occasion.
