OFFICIAL VISIT AND TROOPS ADDRESS OF GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING TO UNDER COMMAND FORMATIONS

The General Officer Commanding, 65 Infantry Division Maj Gen D M T B Dissanayaka RSP USP made an official visit to under command Brigades and addressed troops of his under command on 11 July 2021.

First, he visited 652 Inf Bde area and address the troops belongs to 652 Inf Bde area. In accordance with military traditions, the GOC on arrival at the venue reviewed the Guard Turn Out, presented by 10 SLLI troops. At the end of troop address, all Officers and Other Ranks of 652 Inf Bde area made a tea for outgoing GOC.

Secondary, he visited to 651 Inf Bde area and address the troops at the open theatre of 651 Inf Bde. The GOC on the arrival at the Bde reviewed the Guard Turn Out, presented by 19 SLLI troops and he planted a Mango tree in the Bde premises to mark his visit.

Finally, GOC visited to 653 Inf Bde area and addressed the troops at the lecture hall of 24 GR and followed by tea at Offrs Mess.
