According to the conception of the General Officer Commanding 54 Division Major General Indrajith Bandara RWP RSP USP ndu, a TV room and Entertainment Area for Corporals’ Club of 54 Division Headquarter were constructed in order to uplift the facilities and living standards of the Non-Commissioned Officers serving in Divisional headquarter.
The Corporals’ Club was entirely referbished with newly constructed TV room and Entertainment Area and they were declared opened by Major General Indrajith Bandara RWP RSP USP ndu, the GOC – 54 Division on 15 July 2020. Further, the Creed of Non Comissioned Officers was published by GOC during the occasion with the intention of produce the effective and efficient NCOs to the Sri Lanka Army.
Furthermore, the Corporals’ Club of 54 Division was provided with new furniture,43 inches televition, 3 stand fans and other essentialneeds.
The function was organized according to the COVID-19 preventive measures published by government health authority with limited participants of officers, Senior NCOs and cross-section of NCOs.
