NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOUSE FOR THE LOW INCOME FAMILY IN PEMADUWA

According to the SLAWFS 2020 - 2025 and concept of the Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General CD Ranasinghe RWP RSP, with the guidance of General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, Major General WRMM Rathnayake RWP RSP USP ndu, and the supervision of Commander 213 Infantry Brigade Colonel LGJN Ariyathilaka RWP RSP, in view of uplift the living standard of needy people in the Anuradapura District, while promoting gestures of goodwill, reconciliation and harmony between military and the civil communities, another newly constructed house was vested to the deserving family of Mr SM Janaka Senarath Bandara, a resident of 13 Mile Post, Bandaragama, Pemaduwa in an auspicious time on 19 December 2021.

Financial contribution for the housing project was coordinated by the Mrs Nilanthi Gunathilake while the manpower and technical support were extended by the troops of 5 (V) Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry under the patronage of the Commanding Officer Major SD Ratnasiri SLLI.

Chief Coordinator Civil Affairs Security Force (Wanni) Lieutenant Colonel DBREWMMWNK Madugalla SLAC was graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Commanding Officer 5 (V) Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry, a group of Army officers, Government officials in Anuradapura District and members of beneficiary family were present in the Occasion.
