NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDER SFHQ (W) VISITS 21 INFANTRY DIVISION

Major General J P C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, the newly appointed Commander Security Force (Wanni), visited the 21 Infantry Division on 29 June 2024.

Upon his arrival, the troops of 21 Infantry Division accorded a drive past to the Commander Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni). Major General H H K S S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc the General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division, together with Brigadier RMC Rathnayaka RWP RSP USP, the Commander of 212 Infantry Brigade, and the Senior officers of 21 Infantry Division, welcomed the Commander Security Forces (Wanni).

During the visit, the Commander Security Forces (Wanni) engaged in cordial interactions with the Officers and Soldiers. He posed for a group photograph and planted a sapling in the camp premises to mark his visit. The event concluded with presenting a memento to Major General Chandimal Peiris, Commander Security Forces (Wanni) by General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division. Finally, the Commander Security Forces (Wanni) penned down some complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book.
