The newly appointed Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General D M H D Bandara RWP RSP USP after assuming his office visited the religious places in Anuradapura on 18 January 2021. Initially he visited the Jayasrimahabodiya and called on with the Atamastanadipathi Most Venerable Pallegama Sirinivasa.
Subsequently he visited the Ruwanweli Mahasaya, Mirisawetiya followed by the Sadahirusaya to see the construction. His visit concluded after visiting Mihinthale where he observed the construction of Darmasalawa at Mihinthale Rajamaha Viharaya after call on with Most Venerable Walaha Hanguna Wawa Dharmarathana Thero.
