NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDER 592 INFANTRY BRIGADE ASSUMES DUTIES

Brigadier K L I Karunanayake RWP RSP assumed duties as the 14th Commander of the 592 Infantry Brigade in Oddusudan on 2nd December 2024, amidst religious blessings and military formalities.

The incoming Commander was warmly welcomed by Senior Officers followed by a Guard Turnout. Subsequently at his office, a brief religious ceremony was conducted to invoke blessings for his new appointment and Brigadier K L I Karunanayake RWP RSP signed an official document to mark his assumption of duties.

The event concluded with his formal address to the Officers and Other Ranks. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and civil servants participated in the event and extended their congratulatory remarks on his new appointment
