NEW PRE-SCHOOL AND CHILDREN PARK TO VEHERATHRNNA CHILDREN'S
New Pre-School and Children Park in Veherathenna village was declared open by Minister for Children & Women affairs Hon: Thissa Karaliyadda and former Sri Lankan Cricket Captain Mr. Roshan Mahanama on 14 March 2014. Further it is grate to inform that Mr. Roshan Mahanama has donated his own funds approximately 1.2 million for the construction of this pre-school.
General Officer Commanding 62 Division Brigadier K G D Perera RWP RSP IG coordinated and arranged the construction of this pre-school by employing Army sldrs. Mr. Roshan Mahanama was very delited on arrangement and construction of this school and also the transparency of works done by the Army.
