Major General D C Mahathanthila psc assumed office as the new Commander, Logistics Command (Wanni) on 28 May 2025 at the Headquarters Log Command (Wanni) in Anuradhapura during a brief formal ceremony.
Major General D C Mahathanthila amid religious observances symbolically placed his signature for an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office. Staff Officers, Commanding Officers of undercommand Logistic Battalions, Officers and Other Rankers were also present during the ceremony.
