A new Drawing Room and a Kitchen for WOs’ and Sgt Mess of Security Force Headquarter (Wanni) was declared open by Commander Security Force Wanni Major General J M U D Jayasinghe on 26 August 2020.
The Kitchen building and Drawing Room was a long-felt need for Warrant Officers and Sergeants served in the Security Force Headquarters wanni. The sole purpose of this hard effect is to uplift the standard of SNCOs’ and as well to make the pleasant atmosphere to them.
Commander Security Force (Wanni) grace the occasion as the chief guest while Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier K A A N Koswatta RWP RSP and Brigadier Admin and Quartering Brigadier J H J Nishantha USP, along with all Senior Officers, Officers and number of Other Ranks too were present for the occasion.
