Brigadier TJ Nananyakkara RWP USP was appointed as the New Commander of 54 Division. Brigadier TJ Nanayakkara RWP USP assumed his duties as the 6th Commander of 54 Division with all religious blessings in an auspicious time on 19 September 2016.\r\n\r\nMoreover, the newly appointed Division commander was bestowed from a Guard of Honor and a mango plant was implanted inside the camp premises to remark the duties. The ceremony was concluded after addressing the troops by the newly appointed Division Commander. \r\n
