MODERN MESS FOR NON - COMMISSIONED OFFICERS AT 54 DIVISION
Newly constructed non-commissioned officers’ mess was declared open by the Commander Security Force (Wanni), Competent Authority of Resettlement of Displaced Personnel in Northern Province Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc on 11th September 2014 at 54 Division’s premises. The mess had been build with all the facilities using modern technology by spending Rs.4566980.
A cafeteria, a library, a salon and accommodation for the non-commission officers, are available in this two stairs building. The Commander Security Force (Wanni) instructed to consider this building as a model for constructing non-commissioned mess in other divisions as well. After this occasion, The Commander visited to see the ongoing constructions of the volleyball court in 54 Division.
General Officer commanding of 54 Division, Senior Officers, Officers, Non-commissioned Officers and other ranks of 54 Division had participated the both occasions.
