MEMBERS OF PRESIDENTIAL TASK FORCE INSPECT THE HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES ADAPTED BY TRI SERVICEMEN IN SFHQ (WANNI) AOR FOR PREVENTING FROM CORONA PANDEMIC

The members of Presidential Task Force (PTF), appointed by the HE to inspect the health and security at Military establishments, visited SFHQ Wanni at AM hrs on 12 May 2020. The members included Admiral (Retd) Jayantha Perera and Director General of the Civil Security Department Rear Admiral (Retd) Ananda Peiris who arrived by Air to SLAF Base - VNA and attend for a short briefing conducted by the Commander SFHQ Wanni Major Genaral AMR Darmasiri ndu psc at the HQ conference hall.

On arrival of the members of PTF, were briefed on the precautionary measures and querantinal activities conducted to battle the spreading of corona virus in the AOR. there after the delegators made a field visit to the living areas of solders in the camps of SFHQ, 56 Div, 62 Div, 16 SLSR and 2(V) VIR to get a firsthand idea of the situation in Camps.
