A newly constructed Medical Office in Health (MOH) was inaugurated with the participation of Minister of Health, Nutritious and Indigenous Medicine Dr. Rajitha Senarathne as the chief guest in Vauniya on 24 September 2017.\r\nThe construction of this office was commenced on 15 May 2017 and terminated on 31 August 2017. The troops of 2 Corps of Engineers Services engaged in the constructions with the supervision and guidance of the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni).\r\n\r\nThe General Officer Commanding of 21 Division Major General W R P De Silva USP IG, Brigadier General Staff in Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), the Commander 211 Brigade, Medical Officer in Health Vauniya Dr. S Levan and officials of Medical Office in Health Vauniya of made their presence for the occasion.
