MEDICAL CLINICS AND ESTABLISHMENT OF 28 BUDDHA STATUES
\r\nEstablishing of 28 Buddha Statue at the Srithissapura Rajamaha Viharaya and a medical clinic was organized for the underprivileged families of Sripura, track 10 area on 20th November 2016. The event was arranged and conducted under the patronage of Mrs Anoma Kumburugamuwa, Director, Sri Lanka Board of Investments and members of her family with the coordination of the officers and soldiers of 62 Division 622 Brigade and 9 Gajaba Regiment in order to invoke blessing for the Maj Palitha Gunarathne Maheepala killed in action on 13th September 1990 while serving in Sinnawatta - Ampara under 6 SLLI Regiment. Approximately 570 community members were participated and benefited from these events. \r\n\r\nApart from the medical facilities 35 students have received school materials.\r\nCommander Security Force (Kilinochchi) and Colonel of the Regiment SLLI Maj Gen K A D A Karunasekara RSP USP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding 62 Division Maj Gen B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc, Director General Health Services Dr Maheepala Herath and Senior Government and Military Officers were also participated at the event.\r\n
