At Anuradhapura district, padaviya ag division under the 621 bde 17 SLNG aor, medical clinic for heart patients was held at 17 SLNG HQ at parakkramapura. This event has been coordinated by the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel BKVKP Rodrigo 17 SLNG and which was organized by the Virgin Merry Missionary service and asiri hospital. Surgeon guptha, asiri hospital staff and director of virgin merry missionary service father Karu Shihan Ranasinghe also presented to the event. 36 soldiers and 364 villagers were treated by the programe. He event cost Rs: 20,14,000.00 was shared by Asiri Hospital and Virgin Merry Missionary service, Which was held at 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs on 30 November 2014.
