MEDICAL CAMPAIGN AT BOGASWEWA SCHOOL - 54 DIVISION
Direction given by the General Officer Commanding 56 division Brigadier D A R Ranawaka RSP IG, head quarter 56 division organized a medical campaign at Bogaswewa Vidyalaya on 23 November 2013. The aim of providing medical assistance for the newly resettled people in Bogaswewa, Namalgama, Selalihinigama, and Nandimithragama villages, success Sri Lanka Organization coordinated this event.
15 Doctors and 04 nurses were participated and Dr. W A L Wickramasinghe (psychiatrist), Dr. Jeewaka Bandara, coordinated other doctors from kandy, Anuradhapura, Vavunia general hospitals for the event. More than 765 beneficiaries were got medical treatments and advices in free of charge.
