As a part of celebrations of 62 division’s 5th Anniversary, a Cultural Musical Evening was held at the divisional headquarters of 62 division on 17th September 2015. The cultural event named Mathra Hela Jana Kala Sandarshanaya performed by the students from the University of Visual & Performing Arts under the guidance and direction of Professor Saman Panapitiya, Senior Lecturer [BFA/M.Phil/PDW Co (sjp)]. \r\n\r\nCommander Security Forces (Wanni) Maj Gen M H S B Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guests and many Snr Offrs from SFHQ (W) Theater were take part at the ceremony. Leading figures from the civil administration and police personnel were also presented. In addition, approximately 2000 spectators comprising of civilians, students of surrounding area, officers and soldiers of under command brigades and battalions were witness the event. Winners of the sports events organized in coin side with anniversary day celebration were also received their certificates and trophies at the beginning of the event.\r\n
