Sententious Martial Art display had been organized by 62 Division on 15th October 2014 at the 62 Division premises to commemorate its 4th anniversary which had fallen on 10th September. This show blazed the haughtiness of the competence in National as well as international martial arts of Sri Lankan youths.
Judo, Wrestling, Boxing, Karate, Wushu, Taekwondo and especially Angam Pora elements were staged on this occasion. The Commander Security Force (Wanni), Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, and Competent Authority for Displaced Personnel in the Northern Province Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc graced this occasion as the chief guest. All the General Officers Commanding of all Divisions, Senior Officers, Officers, large number of Other Ranks and civilians had gathered to experience this high spirited occasion in the first time of the Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) history.
The excellent organizing task had been well coordinated and guided by the General Officer Commanding of 62 Division, Brigadier KG Devendra Perera RWP RSP USP IG. The program ended with the championship awarding ceremony for the winners of the series of games conducted in parallel to the 4th anniversary.
