MAJOR GENERAL H P RANASINGHE RWP RSP ndc ASSUMES DUTIES AS THE GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 56 INFANTRY DIVISION

A dignified formal ceremony was taken place to mark the assuming of the office as the 23 General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division by the Major General H P Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndc with the blessings of Maha Sanga on 07 December 2020 at the Headquarters of 56 Infantry Division, Kokeliya, Vavuniya.

Commander 561 Infantry Brigade Brigadier RMPSB Rathnayake, Commander 562 Infantry Brigade Colonel AMS Premawansha RWP RSP USP and Commander 563 Infantry Brigade Colonel KAP Perera RSP, Staff Officers of 56 Infantry Division, all Commanding Officers and Other Ranks of under command battalions were present at this event to pay their greetings to the newly appointed General Officer Commanding.
