Aligned with the commemoration of World Children’s Day, a special lunch programme was organized for the students of Mannar/Palakkuli Roman Catholic Tamil Mixed School on 01 October 2025.
This initiative was carried out as part of the “Clean Sri Lanka Project”, in keeping with the concept of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni), under the guidance of the Commander 54 Infantry Division, and the supervision of Brigadier I. P. Jayasinghe RWP, Commander 541 Infantry Brigade. The event was successfully coordinated with the full support and participation of the Commanding Officer and troops of 10 (V) GW.
A total of 28 schoolchildren of Palakkuli R.C.T.M.S. benefitted from this welfare programme, which was made possible through the generous contribution of officers and soldiers.
