A team of students from Lilastrone High School – Norway coordinated by Dr. V P Renuka Wijesekara joined with troops of 611 Brigade to carry out a donation campaign at V/Thavusiyakulam Tamil Collage on 07 April 2018 by providing essential sports items including T Shirts which were a long felt need for students of this remote school.
The donation programme was carried out under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding 61 Division Major General D M S Dissanayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu and coordinated by Commander 611 Brigade Colonel L P S S Liyanage RSP USP psc Hdmc. During the program in addition to the distribution of items students from Lilastrone High School – Norway renovated and restored the main gate of the school too.
General Officer Commanding 61 Division Major General D M S Dissanayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu, Dr. V P Renuka Wijesekara and the team of students from Lilastrone High School - Norway were warmly welcomed by students and staff of V/Thavusiyakulam Tamil Collage.
