LAYING FOUNDATION STONE FOR A LIBRARY FOR BOGASWEWA MAHA VIDYALAYA
Bogaswewa MahaVidyalaya was re-constructed and opened on 23 May 2013, under the supervision of Commander Security Force (Wanni), Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Competent Authority for resettling Internal Displaced Personal in Northern Province Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP ndu psc, and General Officer Commander 56 Division Brigadier D A R Ranawaka RSP IG. Presently there are 462 students and 28 teachers in the school.
The foundation stone for a library was established by Dr. Chandana Gunawardana (Consulter - Psychology) on 05 February 2014 at Bogaswewa Maha Vidyalaya. Dr. Chandana Gunawardana sponsored Rs.7.5 Million for the project and Sri Lanka Army will provide assistance for the construction. Provision of Books, Language and information Center, Computer Center and furniture are also included to the plan. A lecture on positive thinking was conducted by Dr. Chandana Gunawardana to enhance the knowledge of resettles.
The General Officer Commander 56 Division, Brigadier D A R Ranawaka RSP IG, the advisers Mr. JAM Karunarathna and Mr. NB Liyanarachchi the Presidential Task Force, military persons, and civilians were participated for the occasion.
