The Psychological Operation Branch in Headquarter Security Force (Wanni) leading off the concept of introducing meditation sessions initialised by the Commander of Army Lieutenant General N U M M W Senanayake RWP RSP VSV USP USACGSC organised one day meditation programme on 31 July 2019.
Organising of this meditation session was carefully supervised by the Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General H J S Gunawardena RSP VSV USP ndc psc.
The programme was conducted under the theme of ‘Lakviru Spiritual Meditation’ throughout the day with the patronage of the Chief Incumbent of Kandugoda Bavun Seth Meditation Centre Ven. Diyasenpura Wimala thero.
Over 100 military personals representing 21, 54, 56, 61, 62 Divisions and Forward Maintenance Area (North Central) meditated throughout the day with great devotion.
The event was commenced with the presence of Brigadier General Staff of Security Force (Wanni) Brigadier H P Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndc along with all Senior Officers, Officers and number of Other Ranks in Headquarters Security Force (Wanni).
