With the Direction and instruction of Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Competent Authority for resettling Internal Displaced personal in Northern Province Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP ndu psc, Information Technology Course was started on 17 February 2014 in SF HQ (Wanni) lecture hall. It was scheduled to be conducted over 20 working days. Each course will be consisted with 24 students and there will be 7 sessions for this year. There will be 168 soldiers altogether participate for the IT course at the end of this year.
One of the well qualified lecturers form IDM conducts this course and GSO I (Ops) SF (Wanni) Lieutenant Colonel K L L S Liyanagama RWP RSP conducted the opening address 0930 hrs on 17 February 2014.
