Inter Divisional Football Championship - 2023 held at the 54 Infantry Division Playground on Friday evening (10 March). The tournament got underway from 08 February 2023 to 10 March 2023 with the participants of seven teams. Commander Security Forces Wanni, Major General CD Ranasinghe RWP RSP grace the final as the Chief Guest.
At the entrance, the Commander Security Forces Wanni was welcomed by Major General WWHRRVMNDKB Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc GOC 54 Inf Div, other Senior Officers conducted to the pavilion before finalists were introduced to the Comd SF (W)
56 Infantry Division and 62 Infantry Division teams competed each other in the finals in an impressive manner, but the 62 Infantry Division team players after a neck-to-neck encounter scored the victory to 04/00 qualifying to claim the Championship for the year -2023.
At the end, the Commander Security Forces Wanni and other Senior Officer joined the award of trophies to the winners in all categories and the winning teams are as follows:

Runners-up - 56 Infantry Division team
Major General HGPM Kariyawasam RWP ndc psc IG, GOC 56 Inf Div, Major Geneal RAJN Ranasinghe RSP USP ndc, GOC 62 Inf Div, Major General EADP Edirisinghe psc, GOC 65 Inf Div, , Major General MEP Weerasinghe USP ato, Comd FMA, Senior Officers, and Other Ranks witnessed the final.
