INTER DIVISION BADMINTON TOURNAMENT OF SF (WANNI) HELD ON GRAND SCALE

As a concept of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni) Major General C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP,Inter Division Badminton Tournament organized to improve sportsmanship and also to develop the cohesion among officers and soldiers.

The grand finale of the Badminton Tournament got underway in Indoor Court of the Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) on 24 December 2021 with players representing Divisions and FMA (N/C) and 56 Infantry Division secured the championship. The tournament held under 06 categories and winners of the tournament as indicated below;

The Commander Security Forces (Wanni), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest in the final awarding ceremony. General Officer Commanding of 56, 54 and 21 Infantry Divisions, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were associated with the final event. The champions and runners-up were awarded trophies, medals and certificates by the Commander Security Forces (Wanni) and the GOCs attended for the event.
