INTER DIVISION BADMINTON TOURNAMENT CEREMONIALLY CONCLUDED AT SPORTS COMPLEX – 56 DIVISION
The final ceremony of the Inter-Division Badminton Tournament for the year of 2017 was held on 03 October 2017 at the Sports complex – 56 Division. The Badminton Tournament is another main event to which the Officers and Other Ranks are looking forward to exhibit their talents and enhance the team spirit through the competitiveness.\r\n\r\nSecurity Force Headquarters (Wanni), Five main Divisions; 21Div, 54Div, 56Div, 61Div, 62Div, FMA(N/C), battled competitively for the championship. Single and dual matches were held on 28, 29, 30 September and 02 October 2017. Then the 56 Division emerged as the Champion Division whilst 61 Division became the runners up during the competitive final match which was held on 03 October 2017 of Inter Division Badminton Tournament for the year of 2017. \r\n\r\nThe Commander of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Major General M K D Perera RWP RSP USP ndu graced the occasion as the chief guest. The Commander of Forward Maintenance Area (N/C), all the GOCs of the respective divisions, Bde Comds, Senior Officers, Officers and large number of Other Ranks participated in the finale ceremony of the Inter Division Badminton Tournament - 2017.\r\n\r\n
