THE INTER DIVISION ATHLETICS MEET CEREMONIALLY CONCLUDED AT SPORTS COMPLEX - ANURADHAPURA
The Inter-Division Athletics Meet for the year of 2016 was held on 25 and 26 October 2016 at the Sports complex - Anuradhapuara. The athletics meet is one of the main events to which the Officers and Other Ranks are looking forward to exhibit their physical robustness and energetic power of young soul and mind alike.\r\n\r\nSecurity Force Headquarters (Wanni), and it\'s Divisions , FMA (N/C), 2(V) and 4 (V) SLAWC. battled competitively for the championship. 2l Division and 62 Division emerged as the co-champion Divisions whilst Security Force Headquarters became the runners up of Inter Division Athletics meet for the year of 20t6. L/CpI Roshan Kumara TC of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) became the best athlete (Men) and Rec Mendis RSP - 2 (V) SLAWC became the best athlete (Woman). All events have been held during two days at the Sports Complex - Anuradhapura.\r\n\r\nThe General Officer Commanding of 62 Division Major General BHMA Wijesinghe USP ndu psc graced the occasion as the chief guest on behalf of the Commander, Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc, The Commander, FMA (N/C), all the GOCs of the respective Divisions, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers, Officers and large number of Other Ranks, School teachers and Students of suburb area also participated in the finale ceremony.\r\n
