On the vision of the Commander Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP ndu psc inter club Volleyball tournament final matches were taken places at Vavuniya Gamini Maha Vidyalaya on 30 August 2013. The tournament organized by General Officers Commanding 62 Division Brigadier KPD Perera RWP RSP IG with the direction of Commander SF (Wanni).
MP Namal Rajapaksha presented for the occasion as the chief guest and the Governor General Northern province Major General (Retd) GA Chandrasiri, MP Shehan Sumanasinghe, Vavuniya District Secretary Bundula Harsha Chandra, Mannar District Secretary MUGS Desapriya, General Officer Commanding 54 Division Brigadier MAM Dias RWP RSP USP psc, General Officer Commanding 56 Division Brigadier DAR Ranawaka RSP IG, General Officer Commanding 61 Division Brigadier DMWWMRM Daulagala RSP, DIG Vavuniya WWSH Wickramasinghe, professor Nanda Kumara also were participated for the event occasion as invitees.
Mahaiyankulam youth sports club and Thullikadirippu St Maryes sports club played for the men’s final while Purawasakulam Ran Taru sports club and Natukuda St. Persil sports club played for the Women’s final. Thullikadirippu St Maryes sports club won the men’s final and Purawasakulam Ran Taru sports club won the women’s match.
