INDIAN SOUTHERN ARMY COMMANDER’S DELEGATION VISITS TO SF HQ (W)
Lieutenant General Ashok Singh PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Command accompanied by Major General Dewan Rabindranath Soni, Mrs. Usha Singh and Gynecologist Mrs. Suman Soni visited Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) on 20th February 2014. The delegation was received at the Vavuniya airport by Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Competent Authority for resettling Internal Displaced Personal in Northern Province Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP ndu psc. The visit was aimed to get an idea about the progress of living condition of the civilians in under Security Forces (Wanni) area. During their stay, Mrs. Usha Sing and Mrs. Suman Soni visited Poonthoddam Rehabilitation Centre with Colonel General Staff Colonel L D S S Liyanage RSP. At the end of the meetings Indian Generals were presented with plaques in remembrance of the visit.
