INAUGURATION OF NEWLY CONSTRUCTED FACILITIES – 62 DIVISION
Opening of newly constructed facilities purely dedicated for Officers and All Ranks of the 62 division was held on 03 April 2017 at the Headquarters 62 division. Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General J R Kulatunga RSP ndc psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Newly constructed Main Entrance, newly constructed Water Purification Plant donated by Presidential Secretariat, Refurbished Welfare Complex and Refurbished Badminton Court were the facilities made available for all ranks of the 62 division from today onwards. Apart from that arrangement have been made to provide purified water was to the civilians around the camp premises free of charge as a welfare measure. Event was organized by the officers and all ranks of the 62 division under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding 62 Division Maj Gen B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc.\r\n\r\n\r\nCommander Security Force Wanni, Major General JR Kulatunga RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding 62 Division Maj Gen B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding 56 Division Brigadier T J Nanayakkara RWP USP ndu, Brigade Commanders of 621, 622 and 623 Brigades, Villagers of Galkulama area and officers and soldiers from under command Brigades and Battalions were also participated at the event.\r\n \r\n
