INAUGURATION AND PLACING A FOUNDATION STONE WERE HELD AT 56 DIVISION HEADQUARTERS
A series of opening ceremonies was taken place at 56 Division Headquarters on 06 May 2017. The Newly built chalet for Colonel Coordinating Officer, Warrant Officers’ Mess and a new building for accommodations were ceremonially inaugurated. Subsequently, the foundation stone was placed for a new office complex at the auspicious time. \r\n\r\nThese infrastructure facilities are being developed according to the concept of the General Officer Commanding 56 Division Brigadier ThissaNanayakkara.\r\n\r\nThe ceremonial occasion was held with the participation of the Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni)Major General RuwanKulatunga as the chief guest.\r\n\r\nThe General Officer Commanding 56 Division, the Brigade Commanders of 561,563 Brigades, Several Senior Officers representing Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) and 56 Division, Officers and number of Other Ranks participated in this occasion.\r\n
