The illicitly cut and cleaved satinwood logs, a chain saw and two suspect persons were arrested by the troops of 26 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment which is under commanding to Security Force (Wanni), on 20th July 2016. 3 logs ( 1 x 10 Fts) and equipment had been noticed by the troops while they were on a foot patrol in the PERIYAMADU area. \r\n\r\nThe arrested items and persons were handed over to the Forest Conservation Officer of Adampan area and the further investigations are being carried out by the Forest Conservation Office of Adampan.
