ILLEGAL PALU PLANKS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY BY 24 VIR TROOPS
A large scale of illicitly cut and cleaved Palu Planks was arrested by the troops of 24 Vijayaba Infantry Regiment which is under commanding to Security Force (Wanni), on 7th July 2016. Around 1000 fts of these planks had been noticed by the troops while they were on a foot patrol in the SANNAR area. \r\n\r\nThe arrested planks were handed over to the Forest Conservation Officer of Adampan area and the further investigations are being carried out by the Forest Conservation Office of Adampan.\r\n
