HINDU RETUALS TO INVOKE BLESSSING TO TROOPS UNDER SECURITY FOUCE WANNI

A special Hindu ritual was held at Sri Kandasami Kovil in Vavuniya on 23 October 2018 invoke the blessing to the troops serving under Security Forces Wanni and blessing its formation flags accordingly. This event was organized under the direction of Commander Security Force Wanni Maj Genaral MKD Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu according to a concept of the Commander of the Army to mark the 69th Army Day celebrations.

In light of above, with the guidance and supervision of the GOC 56 Division Maj General prabath Dematanpitiya. Staff of the 56 Division arranged the event in a glamorous manner. Brigadier General Staff of Security Force Wanni Brigadier S S Waduge RWP RSP USP psc and Brigadier LRP Premalal grace the occasion as the chief guests with the participation of Commander 561 Brigade Colonel ASP Silva and officers and troops from all under command formations.
