Ceremony of Katina Cheevara at Silawathura Sihala Vijayagama Sri Vijayathilaka Viharaya was held on 7th Nov 2021. The ceremony was take place Katina perahera, alms giving for 13 monks, laying foundation stone for new Stupa, and distributed 100 meal packets for civilian. Brigadier KW Suresh Perera RWP and other donors were contributed wealth for all events take place in temple.
With the invitation of Brigadier KW Suresh Perera RWP, GOC 54 Infantry Division Major General UD Wijesekara RWP RSP USP rcds psc was participated as Chief Guest and laying foundation stone for new Stupa. Commander 541 Infantry Brigade, Commander 542 Infantry Brigade, senior officers and donors were participated for the ceremony.
