As a concept of the Commander of Army Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake RWP RSP VSV USP USACGSC, all military establishments under Security Force (Wanni) organised a victory parade under the instructions of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Kumudu Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu on 22 May 2019 in Vavuniya in order to mark the 10th Anniversary of victory after the Humanitarian Operation. The Parade was started from main entrance of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) and marched to Sri Bodhidhakshinarama Temple, Vavuniya.
Forming squads representing over 300 troops from Divisions, Forward Maintenance Area (North Central) and Affiliated Battalions to Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) marched proudly along the A 9 road. The Parade was comprised of Military Vehicles and riders of Quick Reaction Team by profusely generating the pride and valour of the Sri Lanka Army.
The Brigadier General Staff Brigadier Harendra Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndc, Brigadier Administration and Quartering Colonel Indu Samarakoon Lsc Hdmc, all Officers of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni), large number of Officers along with Other Ranks of all under command formations participated in the parade.
