HANDING OVER OF NEWLY BUILT HOUSES FOR RE-SETTLERS IN BOGASWEWA
3 houses were constructed and handed over to the owners in Bogaswewa village, which were funded by “Jayagrahanaya Sri lanka†Foundation. Dr. Weerasingha, Dr. Mrs. Sriyani Jayasingha and Mr. Indra De Silva owner of the Indra Traders, Professor RP Gunawardhana, Mr. Athauda and members of the “Jayagrahanaya Sri Lanka†Foundation declared open the houses and handed over to the owners with furniture and other house holding items. Mr. Indra De Silva donated sum of 2 lakhs for civilians.
The opening ceremony was held on 05 July 2014. The Ven Nalande Pawara Thero also participated for the event. The General Officer Commanding 56 Division Brigadier D A R Ranawaka RSP IG coordinated the event with Dr. Jeewaka Bandara. Senior military officers, distinguish guests and large number of villagers were participated for the above event.
