GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 21 INFANTRY DIVISION ATTEND TO THE IPALOGAMA ‘VIRU KEKULU’ KIDS ANNUAL SPORT MEET

Kids at Ipalogama ‘Viru Kekulu’ pre-school meanwhile showcased their talents in the Annual Sports Meet at the Regimental Headquarters Battalion Gajaba Regiment - Senapura playground on 29 July 2024 evening under the theme, ‘Cuddle Bugs’.

President of Special Force Regiment Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoja Peiris, grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and Mrs. Nilanthi Wanasinghe, Mrs. Swarnamali Ratnayake together with several ASVU members participated to the event. The Chief Guest was warmly welcomed by the kids on her arrival at the location offering sheaves of betel and bouquets of flowers.

All the kids participated in various sports activities including features, Collecting Nectar, Fun with hockey, Busy Termite, Happy Caterpillar, Busy Bees, Crazy Bugs, Hopper etc during the meet. A special event was also organized for the parents of children during the sports meet. The day’s event, filled with drill and band displays, added colour to the programme. The Chief Guest gave away prizes to the kids who participated in the day’s events.

Major General WMSCK Wanasinghe RSP USP, the General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division, Commander - Logistic Command Security Force (Wanni), Commander 212 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers and parents were attended to event.
