THE FUNDAMENTAL ENGLISH COURSE WAS CONCLUDED SUCCESSFULLY
Twenty one officers were awarded the certificates on 06 January 2017 after following the Fundamental English Course, organized by the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni).\r\n\r\nThe course was conducted from 05 December 2016 to 06 January 2017 with the supervision and guidance of the Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), Major General J R Kulatunga RSP ndc psc.\r\n\r\nThe aim of conducting the course is to improve the reading, writing, listening and speaking skills of the officers under the different formations of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Area of Responsible.\r\n\r\nAll student officers were engaged in class room assignments, debates, discussions, public speeches and various kinds of language related activities enthusiastically.\r\n\r\nThe final examination was taken place at the end of the academic sessions.\r\n\r\nAfter considering the marks in three different aspects (Work Grade, Presentation and Written Test), Captain RASP Wijayadasa MI became the first in order of merit of the course. The second and third places were obtained by Lieutenant HGR Sandaruwan SLA and Lieutenant KADIE Ushantha SLNG accordingly.\r\n\r\nThe course was concluded by performing the best three presentations on great leaders and a special Cocktail Party with the participation of Brigadier Admin and Quartering, Brigadier C S Atipola USP Lsc as the chief guest. \r\n
