The vilagers living in the 62 Division area have long been struggling with the issue of clean drinking water. However, a positive change is on the horizon as four water purification plants are being established to provide safe drinking water to the residents.
The project has been made possible due to the generous financial support extended by the Director of Glorious Sun Company, Dr. Anju and Prof. Ven Dammajothi Thero of the Hong Kong Buddhist Association
The General Officer Commanding 62 Division, Major Genaral Janaka Ransinghe, visited the area on June 14, 2023, to check on the progress of the project.
