As a kind response for the request made by the Commander of 211 Brigade, Brigadier D T Gamage psc, Janasetha welfare Association’. distributed 50 day ration packs for 50 Families with very poor living condition in Awaranthulawa, resettled village on 07 September 2014. Worth of each ration pack was about Rs. 6000.00, Parallel to the event, school stationeries were also distributed for the school children of those families.
Senior Officers of 211 Brigade, Second in Command of 22 Gajaba Regiment, the president of Janasetha welfare Association Mr. Gamini Ferando and large number of members of the welfare Association had participated for the occasion.
