DROUGHT RELIEF CAMPAIGN BY ‘SLADAR’ AT WEHERATHANNA
62 Division has organized a distribution of 265 rice packs to the drought-hit people in Weherathanna village on 29 August 2014. 265 families were benefited by drought relief campaign. The President of SLADA Mr. Yoga Perera and his family donated for the event accompany with SLADA members. The value of donation is nearly Two Hundred Thousand. The event was conducted under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 62 Division Brigadier K G D Perera RWP RSP USP IG , and it was coordinated by 26th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
