DONATIONS FOR UPLIFTING EDUCATION AND HEALTH 622 BRIGADE AREA
With the direction of the Division Commander 62 Division Brigadier KPD Perera RWP RSP IG and with the co-ordination of Brigade Commander 622 Brigade Colonel KPS Premalal RSP had organized some programmes to uplift the education and condition of health of the people live in 622 Brigade area.
189 pairs of shoes, school bags and 04 cupboards and Books were donated for the Sinhala and Tamil school children in Kokkuthuduwai, Kokilai and Korawaddukerni villages. And also the villagers those who engaging with self employment were offered Rs25,000.00 for buying raw materials and a cement stone machine. A medical clinic was conducted for the villagers in Janakapura and Singhapura expending around Rs. 4,93,261.00 This was a donation of “JAYAGGRAHANA SRI LANKA SOCIETY (COLOMBO)†Dr Anula Wijesundara and its members.
The Brigade Commander 622 Brigade Colonel KPS Premalal RSP Dr. Anula Wijesundara and other some doctors were presented for this occasion.
